Minutes for January 4, 2011

STAR Chapter 447

Clyde Graham, President, called the meeting to order and Walt Drane opened with prayer. Clyde presented Ray Coulter, past president for two years, with a plaque in recognition for his service.

Cliff Coulter, winner of the raffle, was presented the prize, a shotgun.

The president's meeting in Baton Rouge is set for January 22nd. The meeting will be held in Baton Rouge at Friendly Yamaha.

Discussion was held concerning the requirements of all offices from the Star guideline.

Charter was read and accepted.

Julie Graham was asked to continue as fund raiser chairman.

The chapter discussed whether to host the STARBALAYA with the option to change the name. Plans and dates were discussed. Larry Grubbs moved that we host it and Susie Dickson and Josie Grubbs seconded it.

John Gray announced that he had sold all but two T Shitts at $5.00 each. He also announced that the treasury has plenty of patches.

Goals were discussed for 2011.

Ray Coulter moved that the meeting be adjourned and Josie seconded it.
