Jean pointed out that we are going to be far short of our goal to donate $2000 to Special Olympics is we don’t do something in addition to our coffee sales. She made the motion to have a raffle to hopefully made up the difference in what we have and our goal. Larry Grubbs seconded. After discussion, it was decided to raffle a gun. Josie moved that we raffle a gun and Larry and Raymond seconded it.
Ray reminded all that December is election of new officers and November is nomination month. Since our Christmas Party will be our December meeting, it was decided to have a ballot box in the party room and we would have our election at the party.
Vernon asked if the chapter was interested in an overnight ride and many members were.
Our 50/50 drawing was held with $65 being collected. Paul Jones won $32. He promptly purchased a tee shirt and a bag of coffee.
Larry moved that we adjourn and Steve seconded.
Respectfully submitted,
Jean Grobe, Secretary
